Alana De La Garza has earned a reputation in the world of television. In the year 1976, De La Garza was born with a Mexican-American dad and an Irish-American mother from Columbus Ohio. After a while, she relocated to Texas where she pursued a physical therapy career within the University of Texas. De La Garza did not keep her place in Texas for very long, and she soon moved in Orlando Florida, where she played a variety of roles as an actor including commercials, local independent films, and even a few of the film's. Despite her small roles, she soon discovered her love for acting. In 2001, she emigrated from the Midwest to New York where her first part was in All My Children's daytime soap as Rosa Santos. From 2001 to 2000, she had small appearances in JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. In 2004 she was cast as her first part of a series in The Mountain The Mountain, which is an ephemeral television drama. She played Maria Serrano and De La Garza was lucky enough to share the screen with some of the most prestigious TV actors including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. She appeared on Law & Order in 2006. played A.D.A. on Law & Order. Connie Rubirosa. She was featured in 85 episodes. After that, she was a part of the short-lived spinoff Law & Order: LA. De La Garza was nominated for numerous awards including Best Supporting Actress on TV from the Imagen Foundation Awards as well as numerous ALMA Award nominations. In 2008, she won an Impact Award for Outstanding Performance in a Dramatic Television Series from the National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza was then selected as a actor in CSI Miami. She starred as Marisol Delko, the spouse of David Caruso's Horatio. She was the character Dr. Lena Solis in NBC's dark comedy Do No Harm. Alyssa Milano was cancelled by NBC in the first two episodes.
